TEEMER WINS NATIONAL CHAMPiONSHIP AT 152 LBS!!! 

JACORI TEEMER backed up his 5th N.Y.S. title with his second consecutive National High Schoool title. He won 7 straight matches  to capture his title. ELIJAH RODRIGUEZ, AMIR HODGE and MAX MAQUET also won matches for the Marines.  (March 24, 2018)

TEEMER and RODRIGUEZ WIN STATE WRESTLING TITLES.

JACORI TEEMER became the first wrestler in Long Island history to win 5 N.Y.S. wrestling championships. He defeated North Carolina State recruit Matt Grippi 8-2 to win the title. ELIJAH RODRIGUEZ won the 220 lb. title with a 3rd period pin over his opponent from Section1. Long Beach finished in 3rd place in the state tournament. (February 24, 2018)

RODRIGUEZ AND TEEMER WIN COUNTY TITLES, 3 OTHER MARINES EARN ALL-COUNTY

ELIJAH RODRIGUEZ won his second consecutive Nassau County title with a decisive decision over Boaz Smart of Bellmore JFK. TEEMER won his 5th county title with a technical fall victory over Stephen Graber of North Shore. Freshman JEREHMIAH ECHEVARRIA placed 3rd at 99 lbs. He won 5 matches and avenged a number of matches. MAX MAQUET and ALEXANDER MICHELMAN placed 5th. Great job guys! LB finished in 5th place. 

LB Finishes 2nd at Battle at the Beach

DYLAN MARTINSEN, JACORI TEEMER and ELIJAH RODRIGUEZ paced the Long Marines at the 13th Annual "Battle at the Beach" Tournament held at LBHS. Martinsen pinned the defending PSAL Champion and state qualifier in the finals. Rodriguez buzzed through the meet with three pins. Teemer won the loaded 152 lb. bracket by defeating Kyle Mosher of South Side in the finals. He was voted the Bobby Calabrese Memorial Outstanding Wrestler Award. KEVIN LOPEZ, AMIR HODGE and MAX MAQUET all placed second. JOEL VEGA was third and MIKE MCCABE took 4th. WALLY SOFIELD and JEREMIAH ECHEVARRIA place 5th and DEONE RAY took 6th. The team finished in 2nd place behind rival Wantagh in the 16 team tournament. (December 4, 2017)
